What is Card Capers? Well, if you’ve seen Paul Gordon lecture or perform before, you know just how energetic and enthusiastic he is. The magic he teaches is attainable and he teaches it well! (See Walt Lees’ comments below.) But, at lectures there is always – sadly – a time restraint. Paul always has to “hold back”, and most attendees (of his club lectures) wish he didn’t have to. With Card Capers, you get the lot!

During Card Capers, Paul Gordon reveals all (?) he knows about Card Magic: The tricks, sleights, subtleties, routining, performance, audience management, character, the business etc., etc! Card Capers is held in a ‘friendly’ atmosphere. All “egos” to be left at the door. This is a day for hobbyists & pros alike. Beginners to advanced!

 

From 10am to 12:30am Paul Gordon will present his Card Magic lecture. From 12:30am until !:30pm, Lunch will be held at the venue (or find a local pub.) Pay your own way, so check with venue about food availability. The bar is open 12-2pm and we hope to “session” then. From 1:30pm to 5pm, Paul Gordon will teach and discuss all the nitty-gritty stuff: Angles, moves, nuances, misdirection, sleights, tricks, routining, patter and more tricks! And, Paul will help teach registrants on areas they struggle with. And – tips on “The Business” of Magic!

 

The idea of the day is to have fun whilst learning. Paul Gordon likes to take the snobbery out of magic and learning. He really wants YOU to be able to LEARN what he LOVES to TEACH! And if a glass of Wine or cool Beer helps you relax; then why not! There’s a lot of laughs during Card Capers!
