Paul Gordon first got interested in magic in the mid 1960's and started contributing to magic magazines in the mid 70's. Paul Gordon is known for his books on card magic and memoirs of other magicians (Douglas Hood, Edward G. Brown, Percy Naldret and Victor Farelli), as well as reprints of out-of-print classics by Ralph Hull, Rusduck, Ed Marlo, Stanley Collins and Eddie Joseph; all of which were published by his company Natzler Enterprises.

Since 1987, Paul has lectured all over the world; Tannen Magic Jubilee (1997), The Magic Circle, The Blackpool Magic Convention, The IBM Convention, worldwide provincial clubs, The Berlin Symposium and at 4F's (FFFF) in New York (2008). He has also entertained & lectured in Ireland, The USA, Japan, Korea, Israel, Sweden, Germany, Nice, Monaco (the 'legendary' Magic All Stars), Rome, France (FFAP), Belgium, Spain and Copenhagen. In 2016 Paul did a Penguin Live Lecture followed by a Murphy's At The Table lecture in 2017. In Feb 2018, Paul delivered a highly successful lecture at The Blackpool Magic Convention.
Since 1979, he has contributed dozens of card tricks and routines to 'Genii, The Linking Ring, Magic, Apocalypse, Precursor, The Conjurer, Abacus, LaBal, The Budget, Abracadabra, The Magic Circular, and Onyx magazines and also to books by Peter Duffie, Aldo Colombini, John Carey, Gary Jones, Ryan Matney and Harry Lorayne's Best Of Friends, Vol. 3. Paul Gordon was awarded Associate of The Inner Magic Circle in 1993 where he has lectured (since 1992) a staggering five times; he was the very first close-up lecturer in the then new headquarters in Stephenson Way in 1998. In 2020, he was awarded Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star. In 2018, he was awarded The John Nevil Maskelyne Prize for Literature. In 2019 he won the International Brotherhood of Magicians Linking Ring's Award For Excellence for his 2018 One-Man Parade.
